Information you create

The app stores information you enter, including your visible name, household name, shopping lists and items, stores, categories, schedules, completion status, and household activity history.

Where information is stored

HomeCart Planner works locally on your device. If you enable household sharing, the app also stores the household in Apple CloudKit under the owner’s iCloud account and shares it with accepted participants. Other household members can see shared list content, visible member names, and household activity according to their permission level.

How information is used

Your information is used only to provide app features such as saving lists, synchronizing household changes, showing activity, resolving editing conflicts, and managing sharing permissions. CloudKit push notifications may signal that updated household data is available; they are not used for advertising.

Data collection and sharing

The developer does not operate an account server for HomeCart Planner and does not sell your information. The app does not contain third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. When you use iCloud features, Apple processes CloudKit data under your Apple account and Apple’s applicable privacy terms.

Your choices

• You can use the app without enabling household sharing.
• You can edit or delete lists, items, activity history, and visible names in the app.
• Household owners can change permissions, remove participants, or close the shared household.
• Participants can stop synchronizing the household on their device.
• Deleting the app removes its local data from that device. Shared iCloud data may remain until the owner deletes or closes the household.

Children

HomeCart Planner is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information through a developer-operated service.

Policy updates

If app functionality or privacy practices materially change, this page will be updated with a new effective date.
